Version 1.0 · Coming to the App Store
Your family,on one wall.

Add people one tap at a time. Kinchart lays out every generation, then prints the chart as a poster.
Coming to the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
Questions before launch: support@silkway.studio
Add people one at a time.
Select a person, add a parent, partner, child or sibling, and type a name. A test tree of 10 people takes 22 taps.

Three kinds of chart.
A family tree, a genogram and an ecomap, from the same people.

Four chart themes: Classic, Heritage, Modern and Night.
The ecomap draws the same way. The genogram notation has not had a clinician's review yet.
Print it as a poster.
Export a PDF or PNG, share it, or print. Poster paper presets split a big tree across sheets.

Bring your GEDCOM.
Kinchart imports and exports GEDCOM, a 5.5.1 and 7.0 subset, tested on a corpus of 22 files. It has drawn a tree of 3,010 people.
It is a subset, so a file from another program may not round-trip.
Your family stays yours.
On your device
Trees stay on your device. There is no account, no ads, no tracking and no analytics. The App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected.
iCloud, if you turn it on
Sync is off by default. When you turn it on, it uses your own iCloud.
Lock and anonymise
Lock the app with Face ID. Export an anonymised copy when you share a chart.
Free, and Pro.
Kinchart is free for up to 50 people. Pro is $24.99 a year with a one-week trial, or $19.99 once. Both can be shared with your family on the App Store.

A note from the maker
I built the sample family hard on purpose: remarriages, half-siblings, an adoption and a cousin marriage. If the layout holds there, it holds for yours.
